The multi line dealer I patronize had been selling CFMoto side by sides and some small dirt models, but with the supply line of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki drying up they took on Royal Enfield and started ordering the CFMoto street models.
CFMoto certainly look to have established a dealer network in Australia, unlike most mainland-China marque manufacturers. Something that's good to have a few years from now and servicing/repairing the bike.

If light weight, easier in traffic, overall utilitarian value, and good fuel economy are more important to you, go with the smaller scooter. If you don't mind handling a clutch, size, weight, engine heat, pricier maintenance and operational costs, go with the 400cc. If you want a true middle ground, get a 400cc+ maxiscooter.
