(background: I have known GTA IV for a long time but haven't played it, but have good cultural knowledge of it, and GTA related modding experience) (and im not looking for a tutorial in the comments, more like a "to do list", as I have already read posts about) If you want a game with licensed music, then that games licenses will expire at some point. It happens with every GTA game, it happens with every game that has licensed music. This is not the fault of Rockstar, this is the legally binding contract the music rights holders put into place before the game came out otherwise Rockstar would have to I think GTA IV is definitely worth playing in 2021. I'm actually replaying it for the first time since 2010. In some ways the game does look dated, but the attention to detail that rockstar always strives for more then makes up for that. The city feels truly alive, and there is so much to interact with and do. I wanted to grab GTA IV Complete Edition on disc for PS3. From what I've seen on PC, over 50 radio station tracks were removed from the game due to expired licenses. Is it also the case with PS3 copy? Was there a patch that removed these songs? If that's the case, then is it possible to simply not install any patches and keep all songs? I would not recommend this game even if it was less than a fiver. Hi everyone. I played gta 4 but none of the expansions. It’s on sale now digitally for 12$ on ps3. Was wondering if I should pull the trigger. I really enjoyed gta 4 vanilla. Not as good as san Andreas imo but in terms of detail and world building and writing it beats gta 5 in the long run.
